We are what we eat, so can we eat better to become a better person and elevate our spirituality? If we tend to feel tired and have difficulty focusing, changes in our diet and the way we nourish ourselves can only have positive effects.

Green leafy vegetables,
Fresh juices and homemade juices,
Seeds (pumpkin, sesame, chia, sunflower, etc.),
Fresh herbs (basil, oregano, chives, parsley, mint, etc.),
Nuts (dates, almonds, walnuts, ripe olives),
Seaweed,
Spices (turmeric, cinnamon, ginger, etc.).
It is advisable to avoid toxic and pre-processed foods. Indeed, the purer the food, the more energy and positive waves it will contain. A food containing chemicals or that has been overly processed will have less vital energy than another one coming directly from the garden, as each transformation causes a loss of nutritional qualities as well as its own energy.
The food we eat is important, of course, but the conditions in which we eat it are also important. We should think carefully about our plate, what is on it, and how it got there. We enjoy our meals more when we eat in a calm and mindful manner, and our bodies are also better able to absorb the benefits if we give them time instead of rushing through our meal. It has indeed been proven that when we eat in noisy environments, while doing other things like watching TV for example, we chew less and eat more because we don't feel as satisfied. This satisfaction level depends in particular on the number of chews and how much saliva has been used.
When one wishes to improve their spirituality through their diet, it is important to take the time to eat, but also to eat with a light and happy heart. We sit at the table as if preparing to pray or meditate. The mealtime is a unique moment of dialogue and exchange with our body. We can develop our spirituality by eating mindfully, letting negative thoughts and emotions flow. It is important to take the time to chew and feel the food, as well as the energy they offer us with each bite.
It is recommended to take deep breaths right after a meal so that the "prana" (vital energy) obtained spreads well throughout the body. Then, it is advisable to go for a short walk calmly, preferably outside, so that the vital energy circulates even more freely and the body is activated instead of becoming heavy or slumping as one may tend to do after a heavy meal.
There are recommended foods, recommended ways of eating, but the most important thing when you want to improve your diet and spirituality is to listen to yourself. You need to listen to your body to know what it wants and needs, whether it's in terms of food, activities, or pace. We often forget to listen to our stomach and our body and give it the type of energy, waves, and powers it needs. When we eat in front of the TV, we pay attention to a show but not to our feeling of satiety or our desire for vegetables or an apple: we simply eat what is in front of us. Taking your time, being mindful, and eating with full awareness are the key words to use our diet to develop spirituality and better health.
